[Evelyn's face falls. More bad news? She's not sure just how much of this she can actually take. The bit about mirrors makes sense. Through the Looking Glass is sure to be the parallel.

But the idea that there are other people...other versions of them, always watching and waiting, is more terrifying than anything else she's heard so far. In an attempt to preserve her dignity, Evelyn makes a mental note to cover her mirrors with sheets, whether the Opposite Siders walked through or not.
