That's... unfortunately that's true, we can't.
It's possible to get back, but... people don't leave, they just disappear at random sometimes. I don't think anyone here knows quite how it works.
...Your expedition should be all right though. Once you're here time just... time stops passing and if you-- I mean, once you get back home you'll just continue where you left off.
I know that's probably not much in the way of good news, but...

Actually, if you want to get changed, if you find a closet here it'll usually give you anything you need. And the rooms... we've got ten floors and an infinite number on each... the rooms change their appearance for you as soon as you pick one.
